The sophisticatedly established one of the leading institutions, our Kumutha Educational Trust had founded in 1977 by our benevolent Mr. K.A. JANAGARATHINAM M.A., M.Ed.,L.L.B., at Nambiyur Taluk, Erode District, for serving the rural student especially economically and socially for people with kindness in and around Nambiyur.
Our Trust has been effectively providing the best service for 45 years. At first our trust started its services from Primary & Nursery school in 1977 and then it had extended up to 10th Standard at Matriculation level in 1990. Later we upgraded as Kumutha Matric Higher Secondary School in 1995.
In addition we have started Kumutha High School in the year 1996 ( State Board Education for Tamil and English Medium ) through which we have been education by both Tamil and English Medium for the purpose of making welfare and development of the Rural area based student communities.

Kumutha College of Education
had commenced from the academic year 2006 – 2007 onwards for developing our human resources for exploring own capacities and coming out as a code of teachers.
Kumutha’s Eurokids Pre-School
has commenced from the academic year 2017- 2018 onwards. We promote a solid foundation to early learning through our Pre-Kinder garden and kinder garden programming. Their learning environment becomes an additional teacher.
Our building conveys a sense of warmth, generosity and enthusiasm as children, parents and staff are eager to smile and make all those who enter our school feel welcome. Presently it is running as a fully fledged one with many laurels to its credit.
Now our school imparting majestically its quality education for more than 1500 students around 100 teaching faculties, 3 physical education teachers with dynamic Principal and dedicated Vice-principal for Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Also 30 Non-teaching faculties are working under the effective administration of our chief functionary of Mr. K.A. Janagarathinam M.A., M.Ed., L.L.B., as a correspondent with dedicative Joint correspondent Mrs. Suganthi Janagarathinam M.A., found with potential and decision maker, our secretary Dr. J. Aravinthan M.D.S., – Pediatric Dentist and Joint secretary Dr. Malini Aravinthan M.B.B.S.,D.O., (Opthalmalogist) – Govt Hospital, Gobichettipalayam. This Actively Contributing team have been achieving lot in their career, both curricular and co-curricular activities including sports, oratorical, writing, science exhibition, folk arts, Music (guitar, violin, veena, triple drums, keyboard, melodica, miruthangam) , dance, Karate, Silambam, Fencing, Band troupe ,Yoga etc… Our teaching faculties are well equipped and have responsibilities to mould the students to face the emerging trends in globalized era.
We make sure that every child feels accepted, loved, and cared for, fostering a sense of cultural and familial belonging in our school. We provide continuous enrichment for high-achieving students and offer a range of extracurricular activities before, during, and after school. These include team sports like running, volleyball, and table tennis, as well as individual sports like shot-put and long jump.
We offer advanced labs, sustainable practices, round-the-clock amenities, and active participation in interschool events. Smart boards enhance interactive learning while our notification system facilitates seamless communication between educators and parents.
We’ve embraced Literacy for Life strategies, ensuring students engage in essential reading, writing, and literary comprehension. Our campus hosts extension activities like NSS, SCOUT & GUIDE, fostering community service and belonging among students.
Our library offers over 20,000 books for student enrichment and rural welfare. Separate hostels provide healthy nutrition and care, overseen by Joint Correspondent Mrs. Suganthi Janagarathinam M.A.
We annually support around 100 students with free books, notes, tuition, and boarding facilities, particularly uplifting SC/ST students. Our school has seen 27 HSC and 31 Matric SSLC sets achieving remarkable results, including state/district ranks and 100% pass rates, reflecting our commitment to excellence. We prioritize holistic student development, fostering motivation, and facilitating opportunities in sports and other extracurriculars, aiming for international standards and guiding outstanding athletes towards successful futures….We feel it’s our credit.
